REVENGE.

REVENGE

What are we fighting for?
When victory with
no survivors
The walls built so tall
that falling on us
The line we made
only fencing us in
Yet, not a realisation
not even after loss
Only Revenge
blood turn cold
senses numb
Eyes wide
heartbeat lost.
Only one goal
An eye for an eye
To fight fire with fire
only to know
ending getting burnt
Enemy dead
And so is him
The ‘kingdom’ retained
The war won,
but lives at threat.
making me think
Is the battle
won or lost?

A eye for a eye, a life for a life. When will it end? I wish I knew the answer. A powerful poem. I wished the leaders in Washington would send their children to war. I believe if they had to send their kids to war. There would be less wars.

If you like it.......say it......
