A HECTIC DAY

On the grass, eyes closed, oblivious of the world
In her own surreal world, a dreamer’s escape
Considering herself like Alice, feels so tall
With the beautiful sea, a wonderful landscape.

Uh, oh, now, like the giant Gulliver she lands
In this great town of Liliput, right on their bed
The bed makes a loud creak, about to break a leg
They all stand in awe, the tiny kids and their friends.

She, an enemy, they had to throw her away
With the tiny shovels they had for the garden
Feeling the pricks she wakes up all scared and cranky
Frightened as hell, she cries for help and yells, “Pardon”

As she gets up plucking her hair, her mother says,
“Oh calm down sweety, you just had a hectic day!”
